Finally made it to the 6 wk. mark of my hip replacement surgery rehab! I go to the Doc tomorrow and get a date for the other hip! Possibly June 28th. My new hip feels great with no pain at all, but my other hip is worse thn ever. Can't wait to get it replaced too! I'll be dancin' a jig then.
On another note, my eBay store, artrods is cruising along just fine, growing larger everyday! I've got about 200 plus items now, and a 100% rating with a #16 and a yellow star. Wow, big deal, at least I'm selling and learning the ropes at the same time!

9 days till scalpel time. I can hardly wait.(kidding, scared to death). artrods is rolling along just fine. Made some sales, learned a few things, created some more art. Seems like a vicious circle at times, just don't slow up! There will be time enuff for that when I'm recouperating from surgery. Need to create a bunch more items and set them to go on auction at delayed times to keep the auctions fresh while I'm layed up. I did finally finish my display creations, tho they are still in the camera and not downloaded into the computer yet. Turned out pretty cool too! talk at cha later!

Seems like a century since I danced my digits across the keys for custom streamin'! Ahhh but I have been busy. My ebay site is finally up and running and can be accessed at www.artfrmthehart.com. So far there is about 125 items in there and I'm just getting started. I'm having a blast tho and isn't that part of what art is all about? Life can be just grand in that respect, thank you Lord for art and self expression. I still haven't been able to post any of my art in LC successfully yet but I,m taking a course in HTML and soon I'll roll a bowling ball right thru LC and maybe finally get to post some art. Strange how everywhere else is simple to post my art, just not on LC. Not frettin it tho, maybe it just wasn't ment to happen! Well gotta go.

Well I spent half the day cutting these wooden disks out that I'm using to make some new displays for my art at upcoming shows. After cuttin' them I sanded then stained'em and tomorrow they'll be ready for some polyeurathene. Ohhh they're gonna look good. The computer's starting to act up so I guess it's time to get off. Missed a day

Damn, missed posting on 1, 6, 06 by 30 minutes. Surfing'll do it to ya everytime. I did manage to start and finish a real cool pic yesterday tho. A realism pic too. First one of those in a while. And Yaaay, I re-upped on my blank canvas supply today. That pic was done in erasable colored pencils;' that's how I was able to complete it so quickly. Can't wait to rain on a fresh canvas tomorrow(today?). Came up with a real unique display idea for my hemp creations. Hopefully that'll be ready in a coupla days (stain it, thene it). Gotta go. Now create something, ya hear?!!

Escaped the scalpals this time. To darn fast for the ol' Doc, tho I did slow down a wee bit for that hotty of a nurse. Modern medicine,...a bag of purple pills presented to placate plenty of pain. Ahhhh...the mighty placebo strikes again. I should'ave shown'em a blank canvas!

All my friends being dummies where Mr. computer is concerned, there's no fear of reprisal (or even a comment) about what I write. Guess I'm just easily amused that way. On the upside, I did get down on some more art today pumping out 2 more paintings and 2 more fancy little zipper tags. Well I go to see the Doc tomorrow making Mr. scalpal(or knife or hacksaw or laser)'s appearance a wee bit closer. Any body scared yet?

2006. For me this will be the year of new venues. AS well as doing an about face in my career, I'm returning to my artwork and attempting to tackle a Plethora of various medias. So far it,s been custom rod wrapping, shark,s teeth necklaces, leather and bead key rings, various hemp items including necklaces, bracelets, anklets, zipper tags, lamp chain tags, and key chains. I've also started painting again having completed my first (since my start-back) entitled " Cruz-in the hood " a cool underwater pic of some fish toolin' around their hood. As my inventory has grown( 45 custom fishing rods, 40 necklaces, 5 chokers, 10 bracelets, 6 anklets, 50 key chains, 25 zipper tags, and 7 painted pictures, I'm about ready to open my on-line store! See Ya!
